SERVICE DISCLAIMER & LIABILITY RELEASE

By scheduling with Rent a Laborer, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms:

1. No General Liability Insurance

Rent a Laborer does not carry general liability insurance. By hiring us, you understand and agree that all services are performed at your own risk, and you accept full responsibility for any potential damage, loss, or incidents that may occur during the job.

2. General Labor Only (Non‑Licensed Work)

Rent a Laborer provides general labor assistance only. We do not perform any licensed trades, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, roofing, structural work, or professional tree services.

3. Client Responsibility for a Safe Work Environment

The client is responsible for ensuring the work area is safe, stable, and free of hazards. This includes controlling pets, providing safe access, and disclosing any known risks on the property.

4. No Liability for Property Damage

Because Rent a Laborer does not carry liability coverage, we are not responsible for accidental damage to structures, landscaping, vehicles, personal belongings, or any part of the property.

5. No Liability for Personal Injury

The client agrees that Rent a Laborer is not liable for injuries to the client, household members, visitors, or others present on the property during the job.

6. Safety Limitations

Workers may decline any task that appears unsafe, unstable, hazardous, or outside the scope of general labor.

  • No ladder work over 6 ft

  • No roof access

  • No high‑reach cutting

  • Chainsaw work limited to small branches under 15 ft using a client‑provided saw

7. Client Direction & Supervision

All work is performed under the client’s direction. The client is responsible for communicating the job scope clearly and ensuring the requested work is safe and legal.

8. No Hauling or Disposal Included

Labor includes loading, bagging, staging, and moving debris. Disposal, dump fees, and hauling are not included unless arranged separately.

9. Payment & Minimums

All jobs require a 1‑hour minimum. Heavy Labor requires 2 workers. Payment is due at the time of service.
